synthetic biology, virtual worlds, technological convergence,
personalised medicine, contextual computing, “gamification”,
discoveries and open source technologies, personalised prediction,
individual cloud computing, gesture recognition, real time business
intelligence…
But even if these technological trends are generally considered by
experts to have a wealth creation potential, some doubts still remain:

Will the innovations that stem from new technologies really
contribute to the growth of GDP and employment? As to this,
opinions differ.

In particular, how should we manage the split between automated
tasks that will no longer be carried out by humans, and the small
fraction of highly qualified jobs for individuals that have an expert
knowledge of computer languages and data analysis?
