Example: Orange’s Digital Academy
In response to digital technology challenges, Stéphane Richard,
CEO of Orange, started the Digital Leadership Inside programme in
October 2013.
The programme aims to accelerate the digitalisation of the Group
as part of its transformation, and to improve the efficiency of its
operation methods. The training section is the Digital Academy,
which aims to bring a common core of knowledge to all the group’s
166,000
employees, whatever their role. The Digital Academy’s
three main ideas are:

Raising employee awareness about challenges of internal
digitalisation for Orange,
•
Teaching employees to use the innovations of the Group
(
such as 4G) and internal tools (such as Coopnet, the Group’s
online conference tool),
•
Appropriation and putting into perspective the role of social
networks.
