According to Clusif (Club for the Security of French Information), in
2013,
four French companies out of ten suffered a loss of essential
services, and 37% were victims of theft.
The supremacy of the United States…
Of the 64 internet companies whose market capitalisation is over 1.5
billion dollars, only 2% of this capitalisation results from European
firms, as opposed to 83% from American firms.

But France has its strengths
the2014Forbes rankingputs eight Frenchbusinesses among theworld’s
hundred most innovative. Of the world’s top hundred companies in
terms of turnover, eleven are French. Large French companies employ
more than 3.7 million employees abroad and carry out over half of
their business overseas. “
In 2013, for the fourth year running, France is
the most represented nation in the “Deloitte Fast 500 EMA”, a ranking
of technology-based companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa
that have had the fastest growing turnover over the last five years. Of
